Steamship Cafe

Steamship Cafe

The Steamship Café is an essential part of your Loch Katrine experience. From the café there are excellent views of Trossachs Pier, there is an outside seating area for warm sunny days.

We have recently decorated the café, adding classic pictures of Loch Katrine to the walls, which have been very well received.

You’ll find a wide range of light and full meals. There is also home baking and a licensed barThe café opens in the summer at 9am, until 6pm on weekdays and 7pm at weekends. The café is still open during the month but check in advance for opening hours.

Breakfast is served from 9am, ideal for our overnight guests, in the lodges, motorhome bays and camping pitches

Afternoon tea at Loch Katrine is also very popular. The café is on the first floor and there are steps. However, there is also a lift which you are welcome to use.

  1. First post lockdown outing was through itison and offered a sail, all day parking and disabled access afternoon tea. Sounded good. Booked for 2pm sail 25/5/21. Book in procedure very good. Parking good. Toilets available. Shop open. Sailed on time. Good spell of weather in the afternoon. BUT…. no disabled access to cafe as the lift was out of order. My wife could not manage the stairs. Your helpful staff arranged for the afternoon tea to be boxed and taken away. Kind of took the edge off an otherwise pleasant experience for out first outing after being in lockdown so long ( disappointment echoed as weather closed in for trip home)
Report I suppose might be “could do better” (nothing to do with the weather …..for that we take our chance)

  2. Dear Steamship cafe,
