Just as special as the magnificent scenery is the famous steamship which itself has been a landmark here in The Trossachs for over a hundred years – the “Sir Walter Scott”. Your visit is not complete without a cruise on this wonderful ship or on “Lady of the Lake”, the perfect way to experience the beauty of Loch Katrine. Or perhaps you’ll simply want to relax with a stroll by the shore, or take the family for a cycle trip?

Maintaining and refurbishing the steamship Sir Walter Scott is a task which brings many challenges – and The Steamship Sir Walter Scott Trust has been established in order to support the ship - and to raise the funds which are so important to secure its future.
